Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Anything Christmas

Over at Cuttlebug Mania we have a new challenge for you today.
We are in December, and we want you to make a Christmas card.
Use a die and/or an embossing folder on your project.
And of course, only a manual die cutting machine!

For my DT card I used:
White double card A6;
White card stock;
Pink dotted paper from Bringmann;
Green scrap paper;
Embossing folder: Festive Tree from Craft Concepts;
Poinsettia dies from Spellbinders;
Green pigment ink;
Silver pen and glitter glue;
Rhine stone.

Home For Christmas

I got this little cutie from a scrap friend of mine,
and I love him!
I know I have to practice using colours.
That is not my strength. Not yet.
But I think I dare to show this CAS card.

I used:
White double card A6;
Blue card stock;
White scraps;
Image: "Tony Tumble's Snowy Day", stamp from Cuddly Buddly;
Sentiment: Big Time, Zürich;
Colours: Tombow;
Snowflake punch: Marvy Uchida;
White pen.

Blue Santa, CAS Christmas Card

Santa Claus is coming to town.
But today he is not wearing his red suit.
And he comes skating,
singing "Merry Christmas".

For this card I used:
White double card, A6;
White card stock;
Image: Skating Santa (Beccy);
Stamp: Craft Sensations;
Blue distress ink and blue pen;
Star sticker.

I want to show my card here:

Fyrstikkeske med julemotiv

Vi trengte en ny fyrstikkeske her hos oss.
Og hvorfor skal man alltid lage noe til andre og ikke til seg selv?
Så dermed er denne fyrstikkesken klar for lystenning her hjemme
nå i adventstiden og i julen.
Siden jeg er tilhenger av CAS,
bærer også pynten her preg av det.

Jeg har brukt:
Fyrstikkeske med lange fyrstikker;
Grønt mønsterpapir: Kars;
Papirbiter (scrap papers): Rød, grønn, gul, hvit/creme;
Marianne Design: Candle die;
Spellbinders: Poinsettia dies;
Papirdesign: Kristtorn die.
Distress ink, brun penn, glitter, Rhine stone.

Light In The Darkness

It is the darkest time of the year,
and we light the candles.
In Norway we use to have purple candles for Advent.
I thought of purple Advent candles as I made this card.

I used:
White double card A6;
Creme paper;
Purple, creme, orange, pink and green scrap papers;
Embossing folder: Tiny Bubbles (Cuttlebug)
Marianne Design Candle die;
Spellbinders Poinsettia dies;
Papirdesign Holly die;
Black and gold pens;
Glitter glue, gold;

Z - fold Card

For the first time in my life
I have made a Z fold card.
Through this Alphabet Challenge at Beccy's Place
I have discovered new techniques
and got many ideas.
Like nearly all my projects
also this one is a CAS card.

I used:
Creme and blue papers;
Craft Sensations paper for the Poinsettia on the front;
White scrap paper;
Spellbinders Poinsettia and Scalloped Oval dies;
Stamps: "Woven Poinsettia" CM683 H from Artful Stamper
and "Frohe Festtage" from Big Time, Zürich;
Gold Metallic ink;
Gold pen and gold glitter glue;
Rhine stone.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Let It Snow

It is Tuesday today,
and it is also another Cuttlebug Mania day.
This fortnight we want you
to create a card or another project with snow.

Last week I bought something in a local shop
and the paper bag was too nice to throw away.
So I thought I could recycle it, or perhaps better: Upcycle it.

I love the CAS style,
so also for this project I made it rather simple.
I used:
A white paper bag;
Blue paper, glued on the bag to hide the name of the shop;
White scrap papers (card stock);
Snowflake dies: Marianne Design;
Star border punch: Artoz;
A little blue distress ink.
Lots of glitter glue.
The back side of the bag looks similar.

Happy New Year

When we write our Christmas cards, we mostly add
" .....  and a Happy New Year" to the Christmas greeting.
So therefore I made a New Year card today
and hope that I can use it for the letter "Y" at Beccy's Place.

Here is my card:
White double card A6;
White and blue scrap papers;
Heart paper from Craft Sensations;
Stamp: Marein;
Spellbinders Scalloped Oval die;
Embossing folder: Swiss dots (Cuttlebug);
Water colour splatters;
Glitter glue, different colours;
Blue distress ink;
Blue pen.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

X for Xmas

Normally I don't use the word "Xmas".
But over at Beccy's Alphabet Challenge we have come to X,
and this was the most Christmassy word I could find for that letter.
And as I had a die with this word,
I found out I could use it now.
I let the hand drawn twigs, the flower and the banner
get some glitter to give a frosty touch.

Here is my Xmas card:
White double card, A6;
Blue paper;
A little piece of white card stock, scrap paper;
Craft Sensations paper for the Poinsettia;
Marianne Design Xmas die;
Spellbinders Poinsettia dies;
White pen;
Glitter Glue:
Rhine Stone.
